Description

CASO ESPECIAL - special case

No controla esfínteres.

Buddy came in with a massive flea infestation and very severe anemia that is improving with a special diet. We shaved all his hair, he was dewormed and now in the analysis he has come out positive for leishmania, I am waiting for the proteinogram to choose his treatment. We suspect that he received a very strong blow to the back because he bears a scar. The x-ray shows no vertebral fracture, but his spinal cord is affected (possible hernia) and we do not believe that he will be able to recover mobility in his hind legs.

He is not toilet trained. He urinates and defecates by overflow and we manually empty his bladder when he has it full (it's very easy to do).

Despite all these problems, he really wants to live. He loves being with other puppies and he gets happier every time he sees us and runs around chasing us. When dragging his hind legs he would need a cart, or for him to walk on smooth ground or grass, never on asphalt. We are betting on his recovery and because someone who is dedicated will provide him with the life he deserves.
